Refund and Transfer Policy

This page sets out the refund, transfer, cancellation, and deferral terms for The OBM Launchpad ticket and for the OBM Pros program. Please read the terms that apply to what you are paying for before you complete payment.

If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] before you pay and we will walk you through the terms that apply to you. We would rather answer a question early than process a dispute later.

Refunds

Launchpad tickets are non-refundable.

The Launchpad is a live, single-session class delivered on a set date. Once your seat is confirmed, it is held for you and is not resold.

We have chosen a transfer-based policy instead of a refund-based one, because it gives you a genuine way out if your circumstances change, without us needing to hold seats we cannot fill.

Transfers

Your ticket is transferable, free of charge, in two ways:

1. To another person. Email us the full name and email address of the person taking your place.
2. To a later class. Your ticket is held as a credit toward the next scheduled Launchpad.

Deadline for both: requests must be received by email at least 24 hours before the class start time. Requests received after that point cannot be processed, because materials and access have already been issued.

A ticket may be transferred once.

If we cancel or reschedule

If we cancel the class, you receive a full refund.

If we reschedule the class, your ticket automatically carries over to the new date and you do not need to do anything. If the new date does not work for you, email us and we will refund you in full.

Your credit toward OBM Pros founding enrollment is unaffected either way.

Replay access

Replay access is provided for seven days after the class. Watching the replay, or downloading any materials, does not change the terms above.

Your credit toward OBM Pros

Every peso you pay for a Launchpad ticket counts toward founding enrollment in OBM Pros. The terms are:

• The credit equals the amount you actually paid, not the regular ticket price.
• It applies to the founding cohort only.
• It is applied to your first OBM Pros instalment.
• It is non-transferable and has no cash value. It cannot be redeemed for money.
• If your Launchpad ticket is transferred to another person, the credit transfers with it.
• If you apply to OBM Pros and are not accepted, the credit is not converted to cash. Your ₱2,500 application deposit is refunded in full as set out in Part 2.

How to request a transfer

Email [email protected] with:

• The full name and email address you used at registration
• What you are requesting: transfer to another person, or transfer to a later class
• If transferring to another person, their full name and email address

We acknowledge requests within two business days and confirm the outcome within five business days.

OBM Pros is an application-based live program. Please read this section before you submit an application or make any payment.

The application deposit

Applications require a ₱2,500 deposit.

• If you are not accepted, the deposit is refunded in full, within seven business days of the decision. You keep nothing but our thanks for applying.
• If you are accepted, the deposit is credited toward your total investment. You do not pay it twice.
• If you are accepted and choose not to enroll, the deposit is refunded in full, provided you tell us within seven days of receiving your offer.

We charge a deposit so that the people we review are seriously considering the program. We do not keep money from applicants we turn down.

Investment and payment schedule

Founding cohort investment: ₱24,997 (regular price ₱35,000).

• Application deposit: ₱2,500
• On acceptance, choose one: pay in full at ₱24,997, or the instalment option of 3 monthly payments of ₱8,499 (total instalment investment ₱25,497)

All payments are scheduled to complete before the cohort begins. You will not enter the cohort owing a balance. Your payment dates are confirmed in your offer letter.

If you attended a paid OBM Launchpad class, the amount you paid is deducted from your first instalment.

Refunds

Your application deposit is refunded in full if you are not accepted into the cohort.

Once you are accepted and begin payment, OBM Pros fees are non-refundable. This is a live cohort with a limited number of places, capped by our capacity to review work properly. Once you accept your place, it is closed to everyone else.

The protections that exist alongside this are set out below: a full deposit refund if you are not accepted, one free deferral, and a full refund if we are the ones who change the program.

Deferral

You may defer your place once, free of charge.

• Deferral is to the next cohort only.
• The request must be made in writing before the cohort start date.
• After one deferral, the place is not deferrable again and amounts paid are not refundable.

Deferral exists for real life: illness, bereavement, a change in your work situation. You do not need to justify it in detail. You do need to tell us before the cohort starts.

Missed sessions and participation

OBM Pros requires live participation and completed assignments. Missing sessions, falling behind, or choosing not to complete the work does not create a refund entitlement.

If you are struggling, tell us early. We would much rather adjust with you than have you disappear.

If an instalment is late or fails

If a scheduled instalment fails or is late, you have a 7-day grace period to settle it.

If it is not settled within that period, your place is released and amounts already paid are not refunded, consistent with the refund terms above.

If you know a payment is going to be a problem, email us before the due date. A conversation before the fact is always easier than one after it.

If we cancel, postpone, or materially change the cohort

If we cancel the cohort, postpone it, or materially change its format, length, or instructor, you choose:

• A full refund of everything you have paid, or
• Move to the next cohort, keeping everything you have paid.

We are strict when you change your mind. We are fair when we change ours. That is the trade.

Removal from the program

Participation in OBM Pros and in our community spaces is subject to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Where a serious breach results in removal, fees are not refunded.

We do not remove people for struggling, asking difficult questions, or disagreeing with us. We remove people for conduct that harms others in the room.

How to request a refund, deferral, or withdrawal

• Your full name and the email address on your enrollment
• What you are requesting
• The date of your most recent payment

We acknowledge requests within two business days and confirm the outcome within five business days. Approved refunds are returned through the same channel you paid with, within ten business days of approval. Any transfer or processing fee charged by your bank or e-wallet is not something we can recover on your behalf.

Exceptional circumstances

Serious illness, bereavement, and comparable circumstances are considered case by case. We will not pretend to have a rule that covers everything a life can throw at a person. Write to us and tell us what has happened.

Your rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) or other applicable Philippine law.
