For experienced Filipino VAs, project managers, and operations professionals

You are ready to do more than complete the task list. Learn to lead the operations.

The Philippine OBM Academy helps experienced Filipino professionals move into Online Business Management through practical training, honest guidance, and standards built for real client work.

Not magic. Real skills, real practice, real work.

Does this sound familiar?

Your title may still say VA. Your responsibilities say something else.

You started by completing tasks. Over time, you became the person who keeps everything moving.

  • You follow up when deadlines slip.
  • You organize projects that have too many moving parts.
  • You improve systems nobody else has time to fix.
  • You coordinate the team and answer the questions.
  • You spot problems before the founder sees them.
  • You are expected to think, decide, and lead, but you are still positioned as support.

You are not starting from zero. You may already have the foundation for operations leadership. What you need now is clarity, structure, stronger positioning, and the confidence to own the role.

The role

What does an Online Business Manager actually do?

An Online Business Manager leads the day-to-day operations behind an online business. The founder sets the direction. The OBM turns that direction into clear plans, organized systems, accountable teams, and measurable progress.

It is not about doing every task. It is about making sure the right work gets done by the right people at the right time.

"I spent years doing OBM work before I knew the role had a name."

Annikka Aborro has worked online since 2008. Long before she used the title Online Business Manager, she was already leading teams, coordinating complex projects, building systems, and running operations for international businesses.

She knows what it feels like to be the person everyone depends on while still questioning whether you are allowed to ask for more.

Today she leads operations for established businesses through TAP Virtual Solutions and teaches from active client delivery. She is trained through OBM School and is completing the OBM School Accreditation, and she is building a practical, Philippine-first training ground for the next generation of operations leaders.

Leading operations for established international businesses today

This is not a shortcut.

Becoming a strong Online Business Manager requires more than watching lessons and collecting templates. You need to practise leadership, improve how you communicate, build sound systems, complete the assignments, and learn to make decisions.

The work is demanding because the role carries real responsibility.

If you want easy money, this will not be the right room. If you are ready to build skills that deserve trust, welcome.
