A project manager leads a defined project with a beginning, milestones, and an end. An OBM leads the ongoing operation, which may contain several projects as well as systems, team coordination, reporting, priorities, and business rhythms.

No. Tools matter, but an OBM's value doesn't come from memorizing platforms. Strong OBMs understand the operation, choose and organize appropriate tools, and help people use them consistently.

You need clear, professional communication. You do not need a Western accent. OBM Pros includes repeated practice in written updates, calls, recommendations, money conversations, and professional boundaries.

The free community may help you understand the profession, but the paid training is designed for experienced VAs, project managers, operations professionals, and corporate managers. OBM Pros is not a basic VA training program.

The Launchpad is intended for people with meaningful professional experience, typically at least two years in VA, freelance, project, team, or operations work. OBM Pros admission considers the quality and relevance of your experience, not only the number of years.

Potentially, yes. Operations, project management, stakeholder communication, reporting, process improvement, and team leadership transfer well. You will still need to understand founder-led online businesses, cross-border client work, small remote teams, online tools, service positioning, and client acquisition.

Possibly. Team leadership is one part of the role, but readiness depends on your overall experience. Project ownership, systems thinking, client communication, decision-making, and operational judgment matter too.

No. Make employment and client decisions based on your own circumstances. Our programs do not require you to leave stable work in order to participate.

Most Philippine VA training teaches you to perform tasks well: real skills, priced accordingly, and genuinely useful. OBM Pros starts a level above that. It trains you to decide how work should be organized, lead the people doing it, and answer to the outcome. It is live rather than self-paced, your work is reviewed by a practitioner rather than auto-marked, and it is built for people who already have several years of experience behind them.

Four things. Ours is a live cohort, not a recorded library. Every submission is reviewed against a rubric by a working practitioner and returned with written feedback. We train client communication explicitly through a weekly Communication Lab. And the training is delivered by someone actively leading client operations right now, trained through OBM School and completing its accreditation.

Yes. Phase 0 covers business registration, BIR basics, cross-border contracts, and getting paid in USD before the cohort begins. It's the part most training skips and most serious freelancers worry about.

Yes, replay access for seven days after the class.

Launchpad tickets are non-refundable, but they are freely transferable. You can pass your ticket to another person, or move it to a later class, at no cost, just email us at least 24 hours before the class. If we cancel or reschedule, you are covered separately. No. The Philippine OBM Academy does not guarantee clients, placement, or income.

An application-based live program for experienced Filipino VAs, project managers, operations professionals, and corporate managers preparing to lead online business operations. It includes live teaching, required assignments, communication practice, client-style portfolio work, a supervised capstone, and continued community support.

No. The founding cohort is a live program with required participation and assignments.

The founding cohort begins December 2026. Applications open 10 October 2026, the day of The OBM Launchpad. The exact cohort start date is confirmed to applicants in writing before any payment beyond the application deposit.

12 weeks of live cohort, followed by 12 months of membership.

The program requires protected time outside the live sessions. It is not designed as passive viewing. Confirmed live-session hours and expected assignment hours are shared with the waitlist before enrollment.

Yes. Every stage submission is reviewed against a rubric and returned with written feedback, within a published turnaround.

Yes: a leadership charter, systems build, operations plan, launch plan, monthly report, communication samples, offer suite, and capstone report. Completing the program doesn't guarantee every artifact will suit every client or opportunity.

Yes. Graduates who complete the required work and pass the capstone assessment earn the OBM Pro designation from The Philippine OBM Academy, along with skill badges earned through the program.

Being straight with you about what that means: it is our credential, backed by assessed work you can actually show. It is not a government licence, and it is not the trademarked "Certified OBM®" designation, which belongs to a separate international body. What makes it worth something is the reviewed portfolio behind it, which is exactly what a founder will ask to see.

To be clear about the other program: the 90-minute OBM Launchpad class does not come with a certificate, and that is deliberate. What you leave that class with is a written readiness result and a development path, which is more useful to a client than a certificate of attendance.

No client, employment, or placement outcome is guaranteed. There is a pathway from OBM Pros into real client work for graduates who qualify, and we will explain exactly how it works, and its limits, before enrollment opens.

No. It teaches skills, positioning, scope, pricing logic, and sales communication. Your income depends on your experience, execution, offer, market, clients, and circumstances.

The founding cohort investment is ₱24,997. The regular price is ₱35,000.

You apply with a ₱2,500 deposit, which is refunded in full if you are not accepted and credited toward your total if you are. Once accepted, you may pay in full at ₱24,997, or choose the instalment option: 3 monthly payments of ₱8,499 (total instalment investment ₱25,497), completed before the cohort begins.

If you attended a paid OBM Launchpad class, the amount you paid comes off your first instalment.

Applications require a ₱2,500 deposit, which is refunded in full if you are not accepted, and credited toward your investment if you are.

Your application deposit is refunded only if you are not accepted into the cohort. Once you accept your place and begin payment, OBM Pros fees are non-refundable, because the place is closed to everyone else at that point.

You also get a full refund if we cancel or materially change the program. Full terms are on our Refund and Transfer Policy page and are sent to you in writing before any payment is due.

Applications open 28 August 2026. You submit an application with a ₱2,500 deposit, which tells us you are seriously considering the program and lets us give your application proper attention.

If you are not accepted, the deposit is refunded in full within seven business days. If you are accepted, it is credited toward your investment and you receive the full written terms, schedule, and payment plan before anything else is due.

We do not keep money from people we turn down.
